Paypal denied the case and reversed back the refunds

I recently returned £1000 worth of items back to boots using their online returns policy.

They only issued half refund. I contacted them but they failed to investigate.

I contacted paypal as i paid using paypal credit. Filed a case as item not described.

Provided all the evidence of returns.

However, boots gave paypal a different return address and asked me to return the items for the remaining refunds !!!!

I had already returned the items using their prepaid return labels.

Paypal declined the case as the return address was different to the one boots given them !!

Now they have reversed back the refund, meaning a charge has been put in my account balance !

Now I have no refund nor the items ! Its my very hard earned money which boots have steal !

Any guidance or help is much appreciated !

Unfortunately as you decided to return the items before opening a dispute then this was always going to happen.

When you decide to return an item to a merchant then its between you and the merchant.

If you decide to open a paypal dispute then you have to escalate to a claim and wait to see if you win.

If you do win then paypal will give you an address to return the items back to, then when you provide a tracking number showing delivery of the items back to the address paypal told you to then you get a refund.  

Your best option now is try a chargeback via your card issuer if you funded your paypal payment OR small claims court action?

Boots have an online return policy where they provide pre paid return labels, thats how returned the items However, when paypal stepped in, boots given them a different address for return that made the case against me. This clearly shows boots knew how to play this up ! Do you have advise on how to get the reversed refunds back from paypal ?
