Receive an unauthorised invoice by email from this lot, saying my account would be debited $576 in the next 24 hours. It’s signed ‘The Geek Squad Protection’, and says not to reply to the email but call a number, given.  Any others experienced this?

That is much the same as the one I got. Have you responded?

There does not seem to be the facility on PayPal to block a potential (unauthorised)  debitor, or give prior warning of a false claim, other than discuss here.

I am not sure what the scam is, unless they just want people to call the number and that accrues a fee?

Why would they email a warning like this, rather than just claim the funds?

Your notice has the same date as mine, but I’m wonder if anyone has received one of these earlier
