Scamers from ModoMobi, set up a reccuring payment and took $9.99 AUD from my account, the investigations team did nothing about it even with all the evidence and others having the exact same issue, and didnt even bother to contact me or show me any proof of their decision or the responce from the seller, they just said it was authorised and im not covered. How much evidence do you need? Did you even do anything? I dont think they did. The contact details arent even the same on their website. Now I'm out of pocket which is considerable for me being unable to work. I've not eaten for nearly 3 days and and I've since had a hypo diabetes attack and been admitted to hospital. Dr said I was minuets from a diabetic coma. NOT ACCEPTABLE PAYPAL.

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel. As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.

Looking at Trust pilot reviews it looks as though you enter your details for a free voucher and then it sets up a subscription in the small print.

If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

If you had an 'active' subscription then of course Paypal will pay it for you as you unwittingly authorised it and so an unauthorised dispute would not apply.

Although your information relates to that particular scenario, it doesn't apply to mine. I have absolutely NO communication of any subscriptions nore did I subscribe to any services. As for trustpiolet, can you tell me where you found this information? because my review was done there After the scam. How can I subscribe, be charged after the fact?

But why the heck do they have the right to charge for a free trial??? I literally caught them charging me within minutes of signing up for a 14 day trial where they very clearly stated I would not be charged til the trial was up lmao. And they did it TWICE within an hour. They also used a card I never authorized like...is there no recourse at all for me????

The taking out of a subscription can be as simple as not ticking a box on checkout before you click to pay and the subscription auto sets up. If its in your paypal account then it must have happened as no one else can set up a subscription for you on your paypal account (if it was showing on that account?)
