I wanted to share my experience with a security breach on my PayPal account. Recently, I received a "Stay logged in on this trusted device" notification from PayPal, but the device listed was not one that I recognized. The device was "Desktop Coc Coc Browser Windows 7 NT 6.1", and I don't have any device that runs Windows 7. The person who accessed my account bypassed the 2 factor authentication. No funds have been taken. I opened a case with PayPal to investigate, but they closed the case within half an hour without any explanation. I am concerned about the security of my account, so I reached out to PayPal support again. Hopefully they do something because it seems a hacker now has my personal information. I'm considering closing my account because I'm disappointed with the security measures and so far, the lack of support from PayPal. Has anyone had this experience?
