I have received an email from Paypal saying they have noticed a new device. It's the same device and payment details are correct. Should I be worried?

Hi @GMBV,

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for your post!

I do understand your concern with this. If the device belongs to you and you logged in at that time, then you don't need to worry.

Our internal secuirty system completes a review every time you login/make a purchase. If the system was concerned about a potential unusual login, we will send you an email. If you login using a different browser then usual, or you cleared your cache and cookies, our system may detect this as being a new login. It sounds like this has what happened to you.

Please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Support if you have any further concerns.

I hope this helps!
