Suspicious deposits concerning

Has anyone else received $5 payments from CB Neptune Holdings, LLC? I have four of these deposits in my recent account activity but have no idea who this is or why they would be depositing money into my account. Is this some type of a scam or hack? I have changed my password since this happened.

Do you use any shopping app for surveys, deals, instant rewards, in-store offer alerts to earn modest amount of cash, like Checkout 51?

CB Neptune Holdings is their parent company. Checkout 51 partners with retailers and brands and present offers in their app for users to take advantage of and like I said make Cashback payouts.

If not, contact customer service and report these transactions as received in error and unsolicited and have them reversed:

Thank you for the information. I do use an app for coupons for Safeway, but don't know why I would be getting money deposited from them. I usually just click all the coupons in case I might use them. Would rebates on a product be received this way? I have reached out to PayPal on Facebook but they kind of left me hanging for an answer. Maybe not too many people complain about deposits. Thank you again.

I use similar app for Jewel grocery shopping. I have gotten a $5 rebate this way. Im guessing its similar to you, maybe with a Beer purchase? (mine was with Lagunitas and Goose Island rebates)

I clipped the Jewel "Digital Download" coupon for Goose Island beer this weekend ($5 rebate on 14.99 purchase), my first time. I had no idea how I would receive the funds. Thanks for confirming it wasn't SPAM! At least I'm not waitng for a check 6-8 weeks later like in the old days (if the USPS delivered it all).

Reading some of these replies made me realize that I do use the Safeway app. I do clip ALL THE COUPONS. And one of them has been a $5 white claw rebate. I had wondered how that rebate was claimed and this just might be how. I’ve received this $5 deposit from CB Neptune Holdings LLC twice now. I hadn’t looked into it the first time , but I did this second time. And I just went shopping last night, woke up and there was a deposit. So it’s probably that.

This is definitely Safeway i clicked on $15 via PayPal if I bought Budlight don't even like Budlight but at $20 and $15 cash back I decided to could be less snobby than usual. I was also very confused by the Cb holding and found your post.

I just got an email about cash back from an Albertsons company. There was a $2 rebate for smirnoff hard alcohol green apple, so I assume it was sent to my PayPal because my email address is linked to both Safeway, Albertsons and PayPal. It's not fraud.

I use the Albertsons app and it's rebate money usually for beer!

Thank you for this response. I use Checkout 51 and did actually cash out $100 recently but could not immediately identify where that deposit came from.
