Urgent Request: Release of Funds After 1 8 0 Days

Dear PayPal Support, I am writing again to urgently request the release of my funds. My account was restricted on May 9, 2 0 2 4, and as stated in your policy, I was informed that I could withdraw my funds after 1 8 0 days. Today is November 2 2, 2024, which is well past the 1 8 0-day period. I understand that during the 1 8 0-day period, any necessary deductions, settlements, or adjustments could have been made. However, the period has ended, and I have not received any further updates or instructions regarding my ability to withdraw the remaining balance. I am currently in great need of these funds, and I believe it is my right to access them as per PayPal's stated policy. I kindly request immediate clarification and resolution to this matter. If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

However you have to wait until you receive the Paypal email citing you are now eligible to withdraw those funds. If you have not had that email then it means you are not yet eligible.

Sometimes they confiscate funds if you have violated their acceptable use policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

I appreciate your explanation, but I would like to clarify a few points: My account was permanently limited on May 9, 2024, and I was explicitly informed that I would be able to withdraw my funds after 180 days, provided all liabilities were resolved during this period. The 180-day period ended on November 5, 2024, and I have not received any disputes or claims against my account. My account is in my legal name, I am over 18, and the account is registered in the country where I reside. Despite meeting all the criteria and waiting for the specified period, I have yet to receive the email confirming my eligibility to withdraw my funds. I have contacted PayPal multiple times, but they continue to provide vague responses without any clear resolution. These are my hard-earned funds, and I deserve to access them now. Holding them beyond the promised timeframe without valid justification is unacceptable. I hope someone from PayPal can address this issue immediately.
