Why account ban?

I wasn't even aware I can't make 2 accounts in paypal. A year ago, I made 2 accounts: one for personal use and one for business. And today (AFTER 1 YEAR!!!), just went I started receiving money after working a lot, I was permanently banned from Paypal!!!

Is this what Paypal stands for??!!! I'm not even doing any fraud. Seriously, not expected this from Paypal 😞

Paypal please contact me and help me resolving this issue. I'm down to give you any documents of proof if you require.

That would not be why you were banned as you are allowed 2 paypal accounts as long as x1 is personal and the other x1 is a business account.

There are lots of reasons for an account ban but paypal don't give you an exact reason, you must have just broken their user agreement or acceptable use policy in some way.

You can rarely appeal a permanent ban but if you want to try an appeal then contact customer services.

They 'may' pass it to the back office but the chances of the appeal being successful are slim. Paypal state that the decision is not made lightly and once made is usually final.

I know I'm a few months after this topic was started but just wanted to confirm that it is permanent and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

I've had my accounts, 1 business and 1 personal, banned for over 4 years now and my son was also banned the same day. We both have the same name and so PayPal must have assumed that we are the same person using separate email accounts. Not only did they ban my son and I, but the household is also banned as my wife can't open an account because we share the same bank accounts and home address.

You are also banned from purchasing from a retailer who ONLY uses PayPal as a payment gateway, which seems inhumane.
