Yes I got this and have forwarded to PayPal phishing email at first I thought my grandson and clicked on something whilst playing on my phone. Don’t use the link in the email to click onto your account. It’s fake but fortunately my security software detected it.

Hello @mattyb235, @docgt40, @Deakoj, @CharlieBoy4325, @Patsy55, and everyone,
Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community Forum! I can certainly understand how alarming this kind of notification must be. When trying to confirm if an email is legitimate or not, it's always best to not click on any links provided there. The first thing I would recommend when receiving an email like this is to see if there is an actual transaction / subscription setup on your PayPal account for this merchant. You can find any recent transactions in your PayPal Activity, and any subscriptions or pre-approved payment plans in your Settings.
If you see activity there you did not authorize, please report it with the instructions listed here: How do I report unauthorised PayPal account activity?
If you do not see any activity, you can find steps to report the email as fake, fraudulent, or phishing here. There's also some other phishing and fraud trends to watch out for in listed in that article.
Thank you all again for being vigilant and bringing this to our attention. Best wishes on your future PayPal transactions and have a great day!
- Jon K
