Yup I do, which is why I know you post the same answer every time and why I posted "I know you're going to say they are an ecommerce payment company ". Thankfully I was able to figure out what company was charging me and get it refunded

Good then you will know it was not a fraudulent payment that DR processed then if it was a 'company' that you had subscribed to, so, you're welcome.

I have had two unauthorised payments taken from my account in December 2021 by Digital River Ireland. The two amounts were $89.99 and $109.99 on the same day. I disputed it with PayPal and they refunded $89.99 as a courtesy (they said) but not the $109.99 as it had to be investigated. I am considering closing my PayPal account if this unauthorised payment is not also credited back to my account. It would appear that PayPal is not secure and can not be trusted. I am yet to establish if I can have Digital River Island blocked from accessing my account. What next with PayPal? Understandable, I am not at all happy with the situation that I have been placed in when I was lead to believe that PayPal could be trusted with access to my account and they didn't advise me that these amounts were actually drawn out. I was alerted to it when checking my bank statement. Not good enough PayPal.

Digital river is an ecommerce payment company. They don't fraudulently take your money. They partner with companies like Samsung, Microsoft, razr, McAfee, avast, etc. If you buy from those websites, your charge may show up as from digital river. They also handle subscriptions. A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product, like anti virus, and forget to cancel and it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.
