Just wanted to add another example of a self design PayPal commerce page. You can create and host your own 'buy it now' buttons on your web site. Not certain it is always good to move away from PayPals recognized 'buy it now' buttons.
But I needed the artwork and commerce to blend together.

To me looks like a typical sales funnel. The design is pretty close to that of a web page silo (skinny long vertical pages instead of multiple) except yours is double wide. Helps keep visitors on the page, though does not work in every situation like larger catalogs or single focus sites.
The ultra high contrast eye-bleeding color palettes are not usually the most effective and background texture makes the text harder to read. Classic A/B tests show this almost evey time.

I would have to say that neither of those sites posted above looked like a good set up, but more like a way to try to get us to look at the site.
Generally speaking, templates available on cart services like shopify, for example, or GoDaddy, work great. I don't recomend GoDaddy due to stability issues, but they have some OK templates.

I agree with your assessment. Further, I didn't even see a PayPal button on that page. Did anyone else?

We considered the 2 row layout, but it makes the page too long and went with the seperate page links instead.
We also went with the free shopping cart, instead of the buy it now in case customers want other products without having to go back. With the seperate pages, customers can jump from page to page without losing the order that they had already put in their shopping cart.

Both of these websites are from 10 years ago. I would suggest redoing the whole thing and spending a few hours to make it more up to date. You want to make it easier for people to give you their hard earned money.
