Yesterday, I accepted an offer for an eBay item. I sent an invoice, and the buyer paid. Today, as I was getting my mailing labels ready, I was surprised to see that Paypal had given the buyer a refund. I received no notice giving a reason or explanation, from either eBay or Paypal. Normally, if a buyer asks to cancel a transaction, I have to file a request with eBay, and when the buyer confirms, the refund is automatically issued and I get a notice, but I have no idea what happened here. I have tried contacting the buyer with no response so far. I'm glad I checked my Paypal account before sending the item, because as far as I was aware, the item had been paid for and was ready to ship! Is this a glitch, has anyone else had this happen recently?
