Seller receiving payment. How long does it take for payment to clear.

After buting an item on Ebay, the seller is saying that he won't post it untill the funds have cleared in his bank account.

How long will this take..?

I've done a lot of buying but no selling and all my other tranactions have been pretty much instant according to the sellers I've bought off in the past.

I've checked my paypal account and all is fine here, transaction complete etc..

I'm led to beleive that a sellers account won't be credited untill good feedback has been given but if the seller doesn't send it then i can't give "hopefully" give good feedback.

I made a purchase early friday morning ( 0230 ) . The seller emailed friday to say that when the payment cleared on tuesday or wednesday he would mail the item . Does it take that time for payment to clear ? I thought paypal was almost instant.

Hey guys,

Unless you choose eCheque as your payment method then the funds will be received instantly by the seller and your transaction will show as complete. If the sellers are waiting for withdrawals to clear then this generally take 2 to 3 working days.

I bought a few items off of eBay, one says paid and shipped the others say paid but not shipped, what do I do because obviously if the tranaction must have gone through other wise it wouldn't have let me pay for my items. Does it just take awhile for the seller to receive the payments ?

The payment can take up to 21 days to clear.
