Hi all.

I have recently upgraded to a Premier account and wondered how I add credit/debit card to ebay listings.

Also if someone chooses to use a card does the money still go into Paypal and charge me the 3.4% + £0.20p?

Thank you.

Hey there, when you receive funds through PayPal. You are never actually aware of whether the payment has come from a card, direct debit or PayPal balance. The basic payment receiving fee is 3.4% + £0.20p. Our fees are the same for all accounts–Personal, Premier, and Business. We charge fees when:

  • You receive payment for a sale.

  • You send or receive payments to/from another country or region.

  • Personal transfers are sent using a credit card (the sender decides who pays the fee).

Transaction fees can range from 1.4% to 3.4% + 20p. If you receive a payment from outside your country, you're charged a 3.9% + 20p cross-border fee.

It's free to pay for a purchase, or make a personal transfer using money from your PayPal balance or your bank account.

Here’s how to see a list of all our fees:

  1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click ‘Fees’ at the bottom of the page.

Here’s how to view fees applied to any of your transactions:

  1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click, ‘History’ near the top of the page.
  3. Find the transaction you want to look at and click ‘Details.’
