How would I give a discount?

Hi,

I 'liked' paypal on facebook, and now keep seeing "get 20% discount at (insert shop here) when you pay with paypal" messages. It then gives a coupon code. Like this:

Can I offer a discount in my etsy shop and have paypal tell everyone on facebook about it? I know how to do discount codes, but how would I tell paypal about my discount? Would paypal tell everyone? Would paypal make a page like the one above telling everyone about my discount? Or do I have to be a high volume seller?

Hi there temporalflux,

It sounds to me that this merchant would have advertising space themselves directly with Facebook. Then the notification would be sent to the user advising that they could get discounts via PayPal.

You would need to contact Facebook directly in order to determine if you can get advertising directly with them.
