Not receiving 'capture funds' email notifications

Our website uses the authorisation and capture method and it's been fine as, up until very recently, we get an email from PayPal when there has been a purchase and there are funds to check and capture.  However, that has stopped happening and so, unless we actually go into the admin of the site, we don't know there has been a purchase.  This possibly isn't a problem for some people but we don't make masses of sales so don't go into the admin of the site every day.

I've sent a message to the standard PayPal account help and they got back quickly saying there was nothing in my account to cause this change.  They recommended I contacted the Merchant Technical Support Team, which I did on 21 September... I've yet to hear back from them despite having put another message on my original ticket asking for some sort of response and being told that they would respond within 24 hours.

If someone out there has any idea why this has changed, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

This has started happening to me today too. And not just payment capture notifications, but all notifications. It's only happening through one of my registered email accounts. It appears the other IS working, so have switched my primary email account. Not an ideal solution, but it means I get my notifications. Would like to know why my original account has suddenly stopped working.

I am still having this problem, despite several 'tickets' with PayPal and it being passed to their technical team back on 21 September, who seem to have just ignored it.  It's supposedly been prioritised and escalated but still no joy.  I contacted PayPal again a couple of weeks ago and was told that the technical team were working on it but were very busy - which makes me think no one knows why this is happening.

The thing that really made me laugh was getting an email from them about how great the e-commerce section of PayPal is and encouraging me to use it in my business!

Seriously though, as this is now happening to other people as well, surely someone must be looking at what is going on and get to the bottom of it?  It's been two months since I first reported this problem to them.
