Transfer PayPal account on sale of business

Hi

Someone wants to buy my web business which has a PayPal Business account for customer payments, virtual terminal etc. Can I transfer this to new owner and if so is there any info on how to anywhere as I can't find any. The account holds a lot important information that the new owner would need.

Thank you for your post regarding transferring of a business account to new ownership 🙂

With a PayPal bussines account where the business is registered with Companies House we are able to update the named individual and the merchant information can be updated to match that that shows on companies house
