Checking payment status without an account

Hi, I paid for a service online and had the choice of paying my either PayPal or credit card. Although I have a PayPal account I decided to pay by credit card and did so, not realising that it takes the payment from my card via PayPal (as if I don't have an account). Is there a way I can check the status of a payment if I send a payment to a paypal account without logging into my own? Many thanks

If you sent a guest transaction you have to contact Customer Support for an update.

Is there any other way to check the status or get an invoice of payment aside from conatcting customer support? Had the same issue.
