How can I add a foreign address to my profile?

I have been trying to add an address abroad but cannot find where to change the country!!

This does not answer the question. I need not a foreign shipping address but a foreigh billing address. I have bank accounts in different countries and would like to bind the cards to my PayPal. What prevents from implementing this simple, obvious and useful feature?

Because paypal is country specific as has already been said so you have to have a paypal account in your own country and add financial info eg cards and bank accounts from within that country and an address billing or actual within your own country.

I live in the USA but I have also a bank account and a credit card in Europe.
If I add (as I did) my European Credit Card the billing address should be my European address, not the American.

Some credit card companies check the address or at least part of it this before approving a transaction.

I should be able to add also a Foreign Billing address because that is the address referred by that credit card.

Paypal is country specific so you can't add an international address to a country specific paypal account.

It is especially unfair when using Ebay...........As this is a sister company you dont even have a chance to bid, even where the seller would not be asked to ship overseas, but rather to a domestic address in the USA (or UK etc.)

I reside in both the West Indies and Africa so I have been using Courier Services whenever I shop over the internet using USA or UK retailers, these Couriers take delivery on my behalf in the USA or UK and then tranship through to me.

So in my case, I am NOT even asking Ebay sellers to ship overseas, but rather to ship to my courier company resident in that market/country. But I dont even have that option as things currently stand.

If PAYPAL are willing to stand by the stringency of there background and verification checks, why not allow users to desigate the shipping address of their choice - alow buyers and sellers to decide on what is right for them.

Heres hoping that things will change in the future - For many of us PayPal is of limited benefit.

Because this closes a way to avoid paypal's currency conversion fees, which they don't want to happen, as they are too greedy...
