Paying cash into someone elses Paypal account

I would like to send a friend some cash to help them out.   Is there a way to do this?  I cannot transfer from my bank account, I have the cash in hand so I can I send it to a verified Paypal account via western union/moneygram or something?

You can only transfer from one paypal account to another.

If you want to use western union or moneygram that is fine but its nothing to do with paypal you can use it direct.

Or failing that if you know her bank account details eg barclays bank sort code and account number then you can go to any branch of barclays where you live and pay it straight into her bank account and if you pay in cash it shows up in her bank account immediately.
