Hi. I recently made a purchase online. I had the option of using bank, and then if I don't have funds a card. It says payment was sent and completed but I don't see a statement on my card. I have done this with another thing about 3 weeks ago and they never showed up on my card statement either. I do have another card as an option, but it's no longer active so I don't see how it could work. It's almost like I'm getting them for free as no bill is showing up on anything other than paypal summary. Any thoughts?

When you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal credit the seller for you and then start the process of uploading the funds from your funding source.

Can take from 2 hours up to 3 days for it to leave your funding source.

Also if you have funds in your paypal account balance those will be used first automatically.

Well I understand that, but I have something from may 8th that doesn't show up on my statements of my card that is active. So it's almost like paypal bought whatever I bought and I didn't pay for it because I have no record of paying for it.

Thank you for your posts. In this case, I would advise you to review your account history directly from your desktop. Once you have located the transaction, click in details to see how this was funded. As @kernowlass has mentioned, if the payment was funded with bank account, it may take some time till the details are displayed in your bank statement. PayPal has no access to your card or bank statement; therefore we cannot provide you a certain time when this will be displayed. Some banks might update this information instantly (online banking for example); however, others might take up to 30 days to show this or at the end of the month.

I have looked at the statement and I had nothing on it, but I guess I'll make calls around and see. Thank you for the info.
