Paypal Pro - Irish customers asked to input Postcode, Ireland does not have

Hi we are having a problem with one of our websites.

We have Paypal Pro bolted on as the payment method - but alot of our customers are from the Republic of Ireland.

When they go to pay - on the paypal payment page, even when they select Ireland as their country - they are prompted to put in a postcode (its a required field)

However Ireland does not have postcodes

We get alot of calls and potentially missed orders due to people being confused by this.

I know that they could just type in N/A and proceed - but the fact we are getting calls has prompted me to query this.

It really needs turned off as a required field for Ireland by right.

Is there any way this can be done?

Thanks

Gary
