Problem withdrawing money from Betfair.com to PayPal

I am having trouble transferring money from my betfair.com account into PayPal. Betfair.com is a gaming/gambling website that has PayPal as an option to deposit and withdraw money. I successfully withdrew £6.25 from betfair.com to PayPal, however after that I have tried to transfer other amounts but have been unable, each time the withdraw fails and no money reaches my PayPal account.

I have contacted betfair on numerous occasions and they have explained to me the problem is with PayPal and there is absolutely nothing they can do, and that I need to contact PayPal to fix the issue. I have also received the following email from Betfair:

I am contacting you regarding your recent PayPal withdrawal to your account. This has been returned to us with a 'WE' error, this indicates that you may have outstanding issues with your PayPal account.

Another error that was provided to us was (MassPay failed for transaction. MassPay reason_code: 1004) on the PayPal web site this is stated as meaning (1004: Country of Funding Source check failure) may I suggest that you contact PayPal and request further information regarding this error. Once confirmed you should be able to make a successful withdrawal.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiries.

I have telephoned PayPal customer services 3 times, the first 2 times the PayPal representatives told me there was no problem and were quite unhelpful (almost rude) and basically tried to send me back to betfair to resolve the issue. Each time I did go back and spoke to betfair about the issue who assured me the issue was with PayPal, and they have other customers who have had the same problem and the only way to resolve it was to speak to PayPal.

They informed me PayPal has a dedicated department for dealing with gaming website issues, and they definitely would be able to solve the issue for me. I mentioned this department to the PayPal customer service representatives who told me no such department exists, only on the 3rd call to PayPal did I manage to get the representative to speak to their supervisor about the department and they said such a department does exist to deal with such issues but it was impossible to put me through to them! They said they would issue a support ticket to the department who would get back to me within 24-48hrs. It has now been over 72hrs and I have had no reply.

I need to get this issue fixed a.s.a.p can someone please let me know what the issue is and rectify it for me please as this is getting very frustrating and the customer service representatives on the phone have been useless in helping me to solve this issue.

I see this is a year old and you have had no answer , but did you resolve your issue ?

I am having the same problem here!

 

Is there a solution? Betfair tells me to send via bank transfer. That means I would have to give them my bank details and credit card number.. and I don't really want to do that. I don't trust them anymore.
