Receiving payments

I am new to this but I sold an item on an app called depop that uses paypal. I've had the email to say she has payed for the item yet it isn't showing the balance in my paypal account although it's showing the money taken from it which has supposedly been instantly taken out of my bank account. I'm very confused and annoyed right now as the online help service on paypal just doesn't have an answer for my question! Also my primary email account (the one that had the payment sent to it) hasn't been 'confirmed' yet, yet it won't let me do anything to have another confirmation email sent to it. Can someone please help as the online help doesn't do a thing.

Unfortunately we are a member to member help group, we don't have customer support capabilities.   Besides emailing customer support you can call.

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting. 

 

If your email address is not yet confirmed, that would be the reason you have not received your payment. Since payments on PayPal are done by email we have to be sure that it is correct before the money is processed. 

 

I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty confirming it through. If the email is not working I would recommend getting in touch with our customer service as snowshoe has said. We can manually confirm it for you after a check and your payment will arrive. I would advise though not sending your item until this is sorted so we can be sure that everything is above board.
