If you read the small section on seller protection you would see what it offered, Its never 100 % so its best to read up yourself and risk assess your transaction.

But the main things are sending the item trackable and making sure you invoice the buyer detailing exactly the item they are buying.

Again no one can say yeah or nay, again you need to read up on seller protection but if the item costs more than approx £30 you need  to send registered or special delivery and not just recorded.

You are not supposed to sell on a personal account so if you are going to continue to sell then upgrade to a business account but select "individual" if you are not a registered business.

You may be ok to sell just the one item and if not paypal will tell you to upgrade to accept or claim the money.

would i get teh moeny stright away?

Depends, if paypal see you as a new seller you may be subject to the new seller hold >>

http://sellerupdate.ebay.co.uk/autumn2013/changes-payment-holds

However even if its held it will show up in your paypal account balance so don't send until you see it there as lots of spoof email paypal scams about.

would i be charged if the buyers chooses the goods and service option?

Yes but you should not ask a buyer to select any other option as it would lose them there buyer protection and is not to be used for selling.

Buyers don't pay fees, that is for sellers and is 3.4% + 20p per transaction.

Up to you what courier/postage service you use and you can ask your buyer to pay postage costs.

that buyers have more protection than the sellers and buyers tend to scam alot.

What a lovely way to view your customers, if you think he's a scammer don't sell to him. I have been on ebay as a seller since 2001 and have not been scammed yet.

A lot of people accuse buyers who don't receive items and file a dispute as scammers, but the onus is on the seller to prove delivery of the item with a tracking number, if they choose to send non trackable and it does not arrive then that is their risk and not the buyers and  you can't blame a buyer for wanting their money back for an item they did not receive but paid for.

If you don't want to get scammed then you can reduce risk but not obliterate it, if you are not happy to send to this person then ask for direct bank transfer but of course a lot of buyers like paypal as they get buyer protection and as  a buyer i would not send an item to a stranger without buyer protection.
