Hi All,

I am about to send a payment (in US$) to Chinese a qq.com account via my PayPal account using my funds which are already available.

As far as I can see, Chinese qq.com accounts are generally 10 random numbers followed by at qq.com

My questions are:

1, Has anyone ever sent payment this way to a Chinese qq.com account?

2, Will the payment be instant?

3, Am I covered if anything goes wrong?

Many thanks and I look forward to all replies.

Hi smiguel,

Welcome to community forum.

I am afraid I am not familiar with the website you are buying from. What I can tell you is how to stay secure. You will find information on our buyer protection policy here http://ow.ly/Ga72T

I hope you find this useful.

QQ and wechat as big time Chinese instant messaging programs.   Everyone gets a qq number and that number also works as an email address.

Many useit, not all are bad.

Unfortunately so far none of the replies to the OP have offered any sort of information that isn't quickly and easily available by searching Google or doing a whois search for "qq.com". I'm posting this because just now I got a message from a qq.com email address. The message is as follows: "Hello I got your information on Amazon Top 10000 Reviewers list and I understand you are a reliable experienced shopper and reviewer. Here I contact you to see if you are interested in "Square Bedside Table Lamp" If interested please send me back. Note: 1PP refund asap after order cover the fee; 2Help to post question on Customer questions answers part." I've been getting similar messages like this lately but each one has been automatically filtered to the Spam folder. This one is the first that went straight to my inbox and pushed a notification to my phone. I understand that qq.com is an ubiquitous online communication service in China and South East Asia but why such anonymity from a purportedly legitimate company?
