Using PayPal for Uber fares in America...Charges???

Hi, I'm travelling to North America later this year and I'm planning on using Uber's every now & again while I'm there to get around quicker and easier. I live in the UK....if I use PayPal to pay my fares will I be charged any additional fees? Or run into any problems? Thanks in advance......

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

You will not be charged additional fees for using PayPal to pay for Uber fees in the US. There will be a currency conversion involved and you will see the exact amount charged before completing a payment but this is the same kind of conversion as if you were making a USD payment with your PayPal account normally.

The issue you may have is with using the UK Uber app in the US. To the best of my knowledge it is country specific. I recommend checking this with Uber directly.
