currency converter

Hi,

had a look through other posts and cannot find any specific to this one, but applogies if it has been asked before. I buy a lot from overseas and used to type in currency converter into the search bar and find a very useful tool to help me assess how much something was actually going to cost me before purchase. This has now either gone or moved and I cannot find it, does anyone know how to get to this feature. I would be most grateful for a link. Many thanks,

Liv

Hi oliabea,

the way that I convert approximate currencies are as follows :

  1. Google - XE Currency Conversion, use the conversion tool of which currencies you need (Example $50.00 USD = $52.43 CAD)
  2. Then I apply PayPal's conversion fee rate of 2.5% to the currency value of your institution ($52.43 + 2.5% = $53.74)
  3. My approximate total will be $53.74. I always round up to the nearest dollar, and in some cases add a few dollars to account for currency fluctuation.

3.  Add your main currency as primary balnce

4.  Click add another currency

5.  Add the currency you want to convert from.

6.  Thge currency convertor then appear.

Another hour wasted because PayPal fixed something that wasnt broken.
