keeps saying payment service unavailable

Hi, i''m trying to pay for 2 items on ebay but keeps failing the payment. I owe 83p but it said it will be added onto payment. When it didnt do that i went on to pay by card and also added £10 to my account both of which have been saying processing since yesterday. I dont want to receive negative feedback. Any ideas how to get it sorted? Thanks.

Firstly buyers on ebay CANNOT get neg feedback. All a buyer can get is positive or nothing.

Only sellers can get neg feedback.

If you have added funds to your account then dependent on which option you used it can take from a few hours to a few days to process.

However if you ring customer services they can clear your neg via a card over the phone.

OR you can clear it via getting a mate to send you the payment to your email addy using the personal / gift option but make sure they don't fund it with a card or they will get a fee.

Thanks I never thought of that. I got my sister to send the payment to me and worked straight away.

Hi i just sold an item on ebay , i have £30 in my paypal account , so i tried to buy something with it , all im getting is payment service not available , it was able to receive so why not send ? i dont have a bank account or credit or debit card , so basically it looks like paypal are holding my funds hostage . what do i do , all i wana do is buy something cheap

You can use your funds in your paypal balance but only if you have a back up funding source attached to your paypal account.

So add a card and you should then be able to use the funds in your paypal balance.
