Can't pay for eBay item, past 9 days and counting...
This is the message I sent to the seller of the eBay item I won 9 days ago which explains the bizzare issue I've been dealing with.

Dear eBay Seller XXXXXX,
Still waiting for the PayPal verification amount to "POST" on my online credit card statement so I can use PayPal to send with a credit card, this is so annoying! PayPal said verification takes up to 3 business days to show up, that was 9 days ago, my bank said no charges to my credit card have shown up, I resubmitted the verification charge 5 days ago, still nothing from PayPal! I called my bank again, they said there is no LOCK on my account, no LOCK on my credit card, no FRAUD ALERTS, so what is going on??
I really want to pay NOW and avoid a NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, I have never had to deal with this verification issue before now, I am only an EBAY BUYER?! I am NOT a seller, this is a PERSONAL PAYPAL account, yet its treating me like a powerseller and FORCING ME TO VERIFY, but not charging my CREDIT CARD in order to do so??!
I haven't used PayPal in 5-6 years (as you can see in my last ebay feedback dated 2004). So I don't know why it wants my bank accounts and credit cards all linked just to buy something from eBay one time?
Everyone else in various forums I checked say that's wrong, I shoult not be required to link and verify banking accounts and credit card just to send a few bucks to pay for an item. I shouls automatically be able to send up to $2,000 via credit card without being linked to my bank accounts. I haven't sent ANYTHING EVER to anyone, yet PayPal insists my sending limit has been reached!! I have added my credit card and still awaiting the mysterious "charge amount" to show up in my online bank statement, so I can't even get verified because PAYPAL chronically FAILS.
In my History, PayPal says: "You have sent a total of $00.00 USD as of 12/08/2010.
Your remaining sending limit is $00.00 USD as of 12/08/2010.
Add a credit card to your PayPal account to raise your spending limit to $00.00 USD.
Link and verify your bank account to raise your spending limit even higher."
It doesn't make any sense, $00.00 sent, $00.00 limit, and I get to raise my limit to $00.00 if I get verified??

Can anyone provide any intelligence on this type of an issue, so far it's catch=22 just to get to be able to send $00.00. I have a $50,000 AA credit spending limit with VISA and my rating is AA, surely this isn't a limit from my bank who claims there are no ACCOUNT LOCKS, FRAUD ALERTS or IDENTITY THEFT issues currently set on any of my banking or credit accounts. Surely this is an issue with PAYPAL. Customer service with PayPal is a joke. They referred me here to this forum to attempt to resolve my issues with other users who may have had similar issues in the past and resolved them.
So can anyone provide any counsul or is PayPal broken only for me? Please HELP! ANYONE??!!
