I don't get it... Is it like credit? My account says i have 500 dollars available too transfer to my actual account but I mean i never sent 500 dollars to my PayPal account... So how do i have 500 available?

And also i had a balance of $100 and when i transfered it back into my account my available funds went down to $400, I don't want any charges from paypal 😕 this is my money

Welcome to the boards!

The $500 limit is the amount of funds you can withdraw every month.  The amount resets on the anniversary of the day your account was created (you can locate the anniversary date by clicking on "View Limits" on the Overview screen and then looking the the Withdrawal Limit section).

This limit isn't a line of credit, but it is a limit on the amount of money you can send out of PayPal to your bank.  So if you have $500 in the month left, and withdraw $200, you would be able to withdraw another $300 until the limit resets again.

Hope this helps,

Adrian

my issue is i'm trying to send money and it keeps saying transaction could not be completed; i'm wondering if this could be why.

armmclure,

If the "View Limits" link isn't there, it's because you've removed all the limits Smiley Happy  In your case, though, it sounds more like your checkout process is timing out or, if paying via a card, that your card issuer is declining the payment.  I would recommend either trying again later or checking with your card issuer to see why the payment was declined.

Hope this helps,

Adrian
