having trouble sending money using credit card

Why can't I send money to friends using my credit card, not my PayPal balance?  I don't get any option to change funding to the credit card.

Thanks for stopping by!

If you have funds in your PayPal account balance, you would need to first withdraw the funds out of your account--and then you should have the option of your credit card when sending funds.

Hmm....Without looking at the account it's hard to say why your not getting the credit card as a payment option.  I would recommend giving out Customer Service a call. 

They would be happy to look into the account, and provide you with additional information!

I am having the same trouble - I am trying to pay my rent!  The system designates my checking account and will not let me choose my Credit card to send the funds.  The money isn't in my checking account!  It is on my Credit Card. 

Does the card need to be further verified?  Does my landlords account need to be verified?  Is the problem with the amount?  I was able to send her a small amount as a test 3 days ago. 

Please help!  I like this place and don't want to have to move to a facility that can swipe a credit card.
