I can't believe I can't find this infomration in the help forum or anywhere on Paypal or UPS website.

I need to know my "Shipper UPS Account Number" in order to file an insurance claim for damaged items.

The problem is, nothing on the paypal invoice mentions this account number, and even though I have set up a UPS account in order to file the claim I can't even find it on their website. Can someone please point me in the right direction!?!?

When you set up your UPS account, UPS would have sent you a confirming email with your account number.  That's the only place it's recorded unless you inputted it into Paypal.

Excuse me surplus deal dude, you are wrong. I just did the same steps as our buddy above, and of course I got an email, but there was no 6 digit number in it. I think the form is asking for the ID of the place where you dropped the package off, but I may be wrong about that. Either way it's a boo-boo on UPS. Maybe I'll use FedEx next time.

Look at the tracking number of any UPS label you have created.

1Z ABCDEF 1234567890

The ABCDEF would be your UPS account number.

The simplicity of UPS's numbering system has led to a few stolen account numbers for shipping. (This is not possible with FedEx labels.)

By the way:

Go to Profile > Shipping Preferences.

Under UPS Information, you would also see your UPS Account number there.
