Repeat subscription payment to Match.co

I cancelled repeat subscription with match.com but they have just been paid again. How can I block future payments or at least get an accep/rject request from Paypal before payment is made. MAtch.com's website is down so they are no use.

Hi deep52, 

I would recommend that you cancel this agreement on your PayPal account to be sure it does not come out again. You can also contact match.com to request a refund for other transactions. 

Here’s how to cancel a subscription or recurring payment:

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Select ‘My money'.
4. In the ‘My pre-approved payments’ section, click ‘Update'.
5. Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click ‘Cancel’.
6. Click ‘Cancel Profile’ to confirm your request.

Note:

• You can’t reactivate a recurring payment after you cancel it
• Cancelling a payment doesn’t cancel your contract with the merchant. You need to pay the merchant for any goods or services you have already received
