PayPal STOP THE SCAM INVOICES!!

When will PayPal come up with a better way to stop fraudulent invoices being sent to users??  I have called on a few occasions to ask how I can protect myself more and the general population of novice users (think our elderly) who may be paying these fraudulent invoices unknowingly...  This is what I've gotten back from PayPal:

1. You can click the link in the Invoice email to report it  - YOU SHOULD NEVER DO THIS, DON'T EVER CLICK A LINK IN AN EMAIL THAT IS SUSPICIOUS TO YOU!!

2.  You can add each an every one of these users that are sending you these scam invoices to your email list and then block them  - C'MON PAYPAL, YOU KNOW THE DRILL, THEY ARE JUST GOING TO KEEP CREATING NEW PROFILES AND NEW EMAILS.

And, that is it.  There are no other ways to stop these invoices from being sent to you unless you put in the work to do something each and every time.  In the last few months, I have now received multiple scam invoices, truly sent to me through PayPal and I can only imagine the amount of novice users who may think this is real, they really do need to pay (Best Buy or eBay, etc.) and then go ahead an pay the invoice.

PayPal will not escalate my software enhancement request to be able to block invoices automatically as a default setting, that you can toggle on (block all invoices) and off (allow invoices to be sent to you).   If you are someone who receives invoices on the regular, you may want to toggle this off, but if you are someone who uses PayPal to primarily pay for things or pay for other services via the app (ex: Uber) you would maybe want this always toggled on, to block all invoices.  And a user has the option to change this setting at any time.

Why PayPal hasn't found a better way to protect their users from this loophole scammers have now found within PayPal is absurd!  Let me know your thoughts...
