I received some funds from Australia in AUD currency, and upon reaching me after tax deductions now it shows a certain amount on my paypal balance box. My question is , do I have to do anything else like manually changing the currency to INR since there is no INR option or will it automatically withdraw it to my bank account after currency conversion to INR ? Since according to RBI rules paypal can not store user's funds and have to immediately send it to their bank accounts.

Hello @Rudransh_,
Welcome! Thanks for visiting the PayPal Community Forum. Sorry for any confusion on receiving and transferring funds to your PayPal account. You are correct, due to India’s regulations, we’ll transfer your PayPal balance automatically every day to your local bank account. If you’ve more than 1 bank account added to your PayPal account, you can select your preferred bank account for the automatic transfers. Transfer may take up to 5 business days to complete, however the length of time depends on the bank.
I hope that helps a bit. Good luck with this and future transactions,
- Jon K
