Adding Euro balance to Wise from PayPal Euro Wallet

I'm based in the UK and have funds in 3 currencies in my PayPal account (GBP, EUR and USD) with GBP being my base currency. I'm trying to add some Euro to my Wise account (also opened in UK) by clicking on the 'Add' button (as shown in the image below). After inputting the amount in Euros, It redirects me to PayPal and I have gotten 3 different-looking interfaces so far in the last couple of weeks trying to make this transaction happen, with no luck. I am convinced this is doable as other people can do it (attached a Reddit commenter below with GBP as their base currency). I have already missed out on 2 payments from my clients due to this as I'll only take payments from them if I can transfer my Euros to Wise. Upon contacting Wise, I was told that: "Unfortunately, PayPal is not approving the payment to us and we can't automatically take funds. We advise contacting Paypal directly so they can provide further advice from their end."

What is causing this?

You best bet is to contact customer services. That’s trying to add money by making a payment and setting up preapproved payment or by billing agreement. Not transfer via bank account number/IBAN from the Wallet.

See Billing agreement section of Setting up automatic charges from your account

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/contact-us

Scroll down to click “Message Us” or “Call Us” option on the bottom.

Or reach out to PayPal at Facebook or Twitter:

Have contacted them multiple times regarding this only to hear this:

"In regards to the conversations we are having on the phone and the video you have sent which we talked about yesterday, I have been investigating this further.

Looking into the security side of things, it is our security system blocking the payments from going through to your Wise account. Unfortunately, we do not have the option to override this at the moment. All we can recommend is clearing your cache and cookies when deleting your browser history and then try again. Also, try through different browsers and devices. If it still does not work, unfortunately there still wouldn't be anything we could do. We would just have to wait for the security system is stop blocking these payments. I did get a CT of 30GBP issued to your PayPal balance yesterday to help cover the conversion on this. Fingers crossed this is something that is resolved soon so you can make the payments to your Wise account using the PayPal account."

As if the £30 is going to make up for the losses I've had to bear and the losses to come. Really tricky to get anything done on PayPal, just not the type of service you should be providing to your customers.

Paypal does not support Wise / Payoneer (or any other virtual banks).
Whilst you can sometimes add an account it wouldn't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.
If you do succeed then Paypal wouldn't be responsible for any missing funds to or from that virtual / digital bank account.

That's the type of response I was expecting from you. Otherwise how would you rip people off right? Fair play.

Well not sure how I can rip you off as I have zilch to do with paypal and so not sure how I would access your account 🤣

Hacking is not my forte !!!

I just posted that to warn you about virtual / digital accounts that Paypal does not support, so, you're welcome.
