Billing agreement cancelled, now i can't continue subscription

After having a running subscription to a music service for 18 months I received an email from PayPal today stating the following:

"The billing agreement that allowed Digitally Imported, Inc. to make the payment for your booking has been cancelled.

Manage your Billing Agreement by logging into your PayPal account and clicking the Billing Agreement link under your Profile. In your Profile, you can choose and edit your preferred funding source and cancel your Billing Agreement."

This is not something I've done myself. There is also no such tab or link as "Billing Agreement" under my profile.

When I try to go to the vendor and subscribe again, I only get the message "Your payment method was declined.".

How do I solve this?

Paypal do not cancel subscriptions UNLESS when they sent the money on the due date there were not sufficient funds in your funding source linked with paypal for that subscription.

So if that happened OR if the merchant cancelled it for whatever reason the only way to set it up again is by going to the merchants site and starting over with a new subscription.

The funds were there, and other paypal translations went through as well. Regarding your second point, that's my problem! It only says "Your payment metod was declined" when I try to subscribe again!

Then your best bet is to contact the merchant via any phone number or email address on their website and set it up over the phone etc.
