Can I set up a payment plan with a friend? Deposit and then ongoing payments?

Hi,
I am trying to sell a motorcycle to someone I know and they have offered to pay a deposit and then pay in instalments over a few months until it's paid. I have had a search but can't find the answer.
Is it possible to set up this sort of thing through PayPal? I am not interested in me just requesting money. It would need to be set up properly to protect both parties, effectively using a 'contract' or something through PayPal.
Thanks!

Hi @dan130i,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community! It is not at this time possible to set up a recurring payment unless the recipient has a checkout either where ongoing subscription is available, or where the Pay in 4 or Pay in 3 product shows available in the checkout. The option of requesting money or invoicing does exist, but would not set up a recurring payment.
I am sorry for any inconvenience, but I hope this helps!
Olivia
