Does Paypal charge you EVERY time a partial payment is made against an invoice - if this is so then the option is an absolute non-starter.
No information for the Seller is readily available but if you are a buyer then there are pages of information on how to pay - what happens when you pay - advantages of partial payments etc etc.

Some help would be appreciated before I attempt to use this facility - or is it a waste of screen space.

Yes. Never heard or read different. Every goods and service payment is charged the commercial rate.  Isn’t the total fee amount paid the same whether it’s the full payment or partial in the end?

£100.00 at say 5%, PayPal fee = £5

£25 @ 5% = £1.25 x 4 payments = £5

The allow partial payments option is helpful of you want to let your customers pay a deposit to start a job or hold an item and pay the rest at completion, delivery or pick up. Use goods and service payment QR code for pick ups and record the payment on the invoice to close invoice.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Many thanks for your reply. However, whilst the % transaction fee remains the same for the entire sum OR for any combinations of the sum (ie. Divided into 6 payments or 3 payments or 2 payments) the "handljng" fees are a multiplier. Thus 1 transaction = percentage PLUS the handling fee 5 transactions = percentage PLUS 5 X handling fees. So if 1 transaction fee is 35p then 5 x transaction fees = £1.75 I have created another payment mechanism for my customers as I needed a solution quickly. As they say "necessity is the mother of invention".
