EXPRESSVPN AND PAYPAL PENDING TRANSACTION

A couple of days ago, I saw a content creator promoting ExpressVPN and how you could get 3 months for free. I used his link to purchase the package, but I accidently brought the wrong package (one without the free-trial). With the payment, I used my PayPal account, but used my credit card linked to it. However, the package was $11.34 and it failed, which I was happy with because it was the wrong package and I was on the USA version instead of UK version. However, in my Lloyds Bank, it says £11.34 has been taken out of my balance for ExpressVPN. However, it's in the pending section, which means the money hasn't been taken out until the company approves. It's been in the pending section for 3 days now and nothings happened, this isn't normal. The statement in my bank is: PAYPAL *EXPRESSVP[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]US. I contacted EXPRESSVPN through their live chat and had mutiple chats with different people. They said the only thing I can do is contact PayPal and hope they can disapprove the payment so it gets out of the pending section and I get money out my balance. For some reason, the transcation is not in my PayPal too, it's only in my Lloyds Bank. Please help.

The pending transaction will eventually lapse and drop off on it’s own. If pending status remains beyond 30 days, then you can contact your bank to void the authorization. Same if the pending authorization is also appearing in PayPal, ask PayPal customer service (not the forums) to void it after 30 days.

To contact customer service:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/contact-us

Click “Message Us” or “Call Us” option on the bottom.

Or reach out to PayPal at Facebook or Twitter:

Twitter: @AskPayPal

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
