Error adding Revolut bank account to Paypal

Hy there,

 

I am trying to add my Revolut bank account (NOT Revolut Card) to my PayPal to transfer money from Paypal to Revolut bank account.

 

I added the provided IBAN account number from Revolut and I get the following error message:

 

"The information you entered is incorrect. Please check your information and try again."

 

The Revolut account number has only 20 digits and a "standard" account number has 24, that seems to be the issue.

 

I asked Revolut about a solution and they said Paypal needs to update their SSI (Standard Settlement Instructions).

 

Does anyone has a clue what that is and how I can fix this issue?

If you are experiencing difficulties when attempting to access your PayPal account, please try clearing your cache and cookies or try using a different internet browser to access your account. If you are attempting to log in through the mobile app, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if this helps to resolve the issue. If the error still occurs, you will need to contact us by phone. You can obtain the phone number for your region by clicking Help at the bottom of the PayPal website.
