Funds were not received by recipient via xoom and I don't know where they are as xoom doesn't know

I sent quite a lot of money to a uk bank 3 weeks ago via xoom and was told transaction had been successful; however, I have just discovered recipient never got the money and xoom is not getting back to me as to where funds are, and also, I can't see the bank account details I used to check they are correct. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how was it solved? Thanks
