Got charged, payment missing, the payment didn't go through

Hi,
I tried to buy a game on Steam, I was using my credit card through PayPal, but there was a glitch while processing the payment. I got an email telling me there is an error, I look at my bank app and I got charged, I look at my PayPal and I don't see the transaction. I already contacted both Steam and my bank, I still didn't get a full response from either.

Are you sure the charge was posted or is it a pending authorization on your card? If pending auth, it will expire and release the funds in a few days. If the authorization still pending beyond 30 days, contact your card issuer to void it.

@sharpiemarker, I'm not sure if it's pending, it did take money off my account, so I'm not really sure how to determine if it's just pending.
