Not sure I understand what’s going on. You mean you had payroll direct deposit set to something else but you set it to PayPal direct deposit as you are using PayPal  as your bank?

Unfortunately, transfers can’t be canceled once initiated and honestly I wouldn’t even try to cancel it for fear the funds get stuck somewhere in the process. Let it complete to your PayPal only this time and if there are problems on the bank level this time, the banks will bounce it back themselves. Just make sure your payroll direct deposit is set right for future transfers at your employer/job.

Quote:

“To cancel Direct Deposit, notify your Payer (employer, government agency or payroll provider) of the change. It can take up to 2 pay cycles for Direct Deposit to stop once your employer or payroll provider has received and processed your notification. If you set up your Direct Deposit automatically through PayPal, you’ll still need to notify your Payer of the change.”

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
