A friend sent me money but I received an email telling me that my money had been put on hold. I didn't sell anything nor do I use my account for that yet it gave me the option to put tracking info. I updated the information by marking it as shipped and it then updated by saying payment will be made within 1 day of delivery. I then asked my friend to click on the confirm payment option and he says there is none on his end and I need to use that money as I can't wait 21 days. Please help? How do I release funds sooner

Sounds as if your friend used the goods/services option instead of the friends/family option.

If they did it may be because they or you do not have the friends/family option in your country OR you have a business account, hard to advise when you don't add account type or country to your community profile.

 

If it was just a mistake and they chose the wrong option then the 'confirm' option is not always available, if it is not then you would have to wait the full 21 days unfortunately.
