How do I occasionally accept credit card payments via my personal account?

Sometimes I accept rental money via paypal from friends and family. If they want to pay by credit card, how can they do that to my personal paypal account?

They can 'fund' their paypal payment via a linked and confirmed card on their paypal account but you can't accept direct card payments.

Also you should not be using friends/family for goods/services so be careful as you risk limitation.

So as long as they have a paypal account with a credit card attached to it, it would work?

Yes, as long as you have confirmed your email address you can accept paypal payments regardless of how they are funded.
