I want to buy something from a private selller on Facebook Marketplace, he lives miles away so collection is not an option. I have been accepted for PayPal Credit and want to use it to pay for my item, however when I put the sellers PayPal email address in when trying to send money, PayPal Credit is not available as an option. I'm wondering what am I doing wrong?
Try selecting goods and services option during payment. It won’t work for sending money as friends and family. And besides,you should be using goods and services option anyway when making a payment for a purchase to get buyer protection in case something goes wrong with transaction.
i have tried selecting goods and services, no luck. i did a bit of digging and found info that says only certain "merchants" can accept paypal credit, so people selling privately on facebook for example will not work.
