How do I verify my Paypal direct deposit account through plaid in Etsy?

Hello. I have an Etsy account that uses Paypal for direct deposit. I use the direct deposit info that Paypal has that links to an account at Wells Fargo. Now Etsy needs to verify all bank accounts through Plaid. I enter PayPal's bank account and routing number just fine but the it asks me to log into Wells Fargo and I obviously don't have PayPal's sign in info. Has anybody else run into that problem?

The account and routing number associated with Direct Deposit are for incoming payments only and can’t be used for outgoing purchases, payments, or direct debits. You can get more details on how PayPal direct deposit works here.
