How will I know if my account is verified and ready to receive funds from my clients?

I tried to send a test payment and it went through, however my client said she can't send payments on my account on her end. When I set up mg paypal account, it did not ask me to send them my government ids, etc. I just set it up and provided my email address, mobile number, and linked my bank accounts.

Hello @Jaii22,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know that you're unable to receive money on your account. Receiving money with PayPal is easy! All you need is a PayPal account with a confirmed email address. Your email address is the only thing somebody needs to send you money. As soon as the payment has been credited to your PayPal account, we will notify you by email. Since you mentioned that you have added all the required details, please make sure again that your account is fully verified to transact hassle-free and if there is any issue with your account, you will be notified with the email or on Resolution Center to take cations. If everything looks good in your account and has been verified, "my account" page should show as "verified" and you should be able to receive money. It is possible that this might be an issue from the sender's end. In this case, you may ask the sender to process the payment again after some time. If they get any sort of error message for example "Receiver can't receive money at this time" then you will need to contact us through the available contact options on our website for further assistance.

Best wishes,

Ayesha
